Hi there! Welcome to the Sweet Stamp Shop new release blog hop! Today I am here to share a card with you featuring another new sentiment set called Simple Sentiments. It is a fabulous set. All sentiments are hand written…. I paired the sentiment set up with the Lil Sweet Peps stamp set. You should have come to me by way of sweet Kari!
The images are colored with water color crayons and those wooden hearts I picked up from Michael’s Crafts.. I added a little detail to the smaller heart with my white gel pen.
Now, head on over to Stephanie’s blog and check out what she made and be sure to head on over to the Sweet Stamp Shop blog because there are surely giveaways to be had!

Hi there! I hope everyone is having a fantastic start to the weekend! Today, I am using the Geek Chic stamp set, which is totally adorable!
I was in total geek out mode with this card, lol!! I had so much fun coloring them and I thought highlighting some of the sentiment and word bubble with the purple was quite clever (even though it really isn’t and everyone is doing it)….
I love that fun Air Vent die from Simon Says Stamp! I just got it in my latest haul and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I love the little book worms nestled over it….. he he… Added a touch of glossy accents to their glasses.

Hi everyone! Back today with a long overdue (and much request) Simon Says Stamp haul!!!!! These goodies are from my latest order, with another on the way…. But before I get to it, please let me share some good news with you today! Most of you know after years of struggle, we are pregnant!!!! Today, we had our 18 week ultrasound and baby is looking very well! Guess we need to get a whole new wardrobe (I saved every SINGL THING of my sons, he) because It’s a girl! PINK PINK PINK!
Continued prayers for a safe pregnancy/delivery would be MUCH appreciated. I also received some other test results not pregnancy related that have me a little bit concerned, although I am trying to just hand it all over to God and trust that everything will be ok and I’m sure it will be…..
Alright, back to the post!!!! You can view the haul video here on the blog or over on my youtube channel.
And now for a little enabling. I love distress inks. You know me! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Use them ALL THE TIME! How stoked was I when Simon Says said they were selling the seasonal distress inks individually! I like most all of the colors, but some I knew I just would not use so this is just PERFECT!!!!!!!! My favorite colors are festive berries (gorgeous red), mowed lawn (perfect green), picked raspberry (amazing pink), seedless preserves (favorite purple of ALL TIME) and gathered twigs (gorgeous brown). And if you like orange tones, I love ripe permission!
I love stickles! They are fabulous and I have quite the assortment! A great versatile one to have is Rock Candy! How awesome is it that they have now released a DRY Rock Candy glitter?
This stamp is just friggin’ cool! Love it!
And lastly, a stamping press! If you don’t have one, get one. PERIOD!

WOO HOO! It’s the Sweet Stamp Shop’s new release week and today, some of us are showcasing a new set called Holiday Sentiments! I love sentiment sets……. You should have hopped on over to me by way of Emily! I made a couple of cards with this set. Let’s check them out!
This is the first of two cards created and this is my favorite of the two. Clean and simple. Jingle Bells and a cool sentiment!
The doodlebug twine here has a cool design. The green interlaced has some sparkle to it, hence the green inked sentiment! I found some jingle bells in my local craft store and stamped the sentiment with Hero Arts shadow ink!
And onto the second card. I combined Pattern Craze with one of the sentiments in the new sets. The hexagons were heat embossed and then I used gelatoes to create the background. I love the font on the sentiment. Love the mixture of print/cursive and the different sizes….
The full reveal of ALL the sets being released this week is TOMORROW! So be sure to check back on the blog! The new release special is the new sets will be marked down to just $10!!! That’s an amazing deal! Be sure to pick up your sets before they sell out!
Next up on the hop is Jamie!

Hi there everyone!!!! I’m here today with a card inspired by the Sweet Stamp Shop bi-weekly challenge!!!! The theme is embossing! Heat? Dry? Which floats your boat? I like both, but for this card I used the heat embossing technique and paired it up with the super cute hexagon set Pattern Craze. The background was created with Faber Castell gelatoes. Yum! I love those babies. My son calls them little chapsticks and he actually made a video tutorial using them last year. Check it out here!
I love all these hexagons and the patterned Nichole created within each! It’s fantastic!!!!
Be sure to head on over to the Sweet blog and check out the details on the challenge, all the designer inspiration and the prize up for grabs!!!!

The raindrops were stamped with Hero Arts shadow inks…. I love those inks. I have built up quite a collection of those babies….. And I used several different colors of stickles to color in the adorable umbrella!
