So, for this challenge, I fumbled big time. I made one card, didn’t like it so made another and didn’t like that one either!! Has that ever happened to you? My mojo is just tapped I guess…. But, I do love my stamp set, can’t you tell? Made 3 cards today all using the same set!!!!  My next post will be showing you all of the Tucked Away templates I made…. I know you all were loosing sleep over it I am sure! Have a great day!

Last night, I finished up all 12 Tucked Away templates for my mom. I snapped a picture of all of them and will share them in another post later today. I would appreciate any feedback. I was struggling how to make each one different. I kept running out of ideas for the front flap… Grr… Today, I participated in the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. I made a total of 3 cards today and I don’t like any of them, but I am sharing them nonetheless! Only because I love that little Santa Claus! So cute! Loving my new PTI Holiday Button Bits Stamp Set!!! First the gingerbread man, now Santa! I forsee some snowman, presents and more gingerbread men in the near future! Finally got a hold of the snowflakes Cuttlebug emobssing folder I have been looking for. I kept it clean and simple. Hope you like it.

I am so glad that I found the JUGS blog a few weeks back! I just love them!!! This week’s challenge was an incredible sketch challenge! I have been making Lauren’s Tucked Away timeless templates….. My mom has a monthly luncheon and she asked me to make 12 of them. I thought, no big deal. 12 is nothing! Trying to come up with different design ideas for each template is proving difficult, but I am having fun trying to come up with ideas! I want to go ahead and get hers done for her so I can start on my Christmas cards. I have already made a few of them here and here. Lisa Johnson create this fabulous photo card template that is simple to cut and score and mass produce. I have done all of three so far, LOL!!!! I also drew great inspiration from Paulina for my card design! She is so incredibly talented!

I also couldn’t help but share the photo my husband snapped while I wasn’t looking. Ugh. Just look at that mess! Creativity is in progress!!  My son loves his Spiderman costume and insists on wearing it at least once a day! If you look amongst all that mess, you will see some of the Tucked Away templates I still need to embellish! HA!!! Thanks for stopping by!!!! Off to get our Christmas photos taken in a few hours. Craft Critique is a great wealth of information. They critque various crafting products! Recently the critiqued the scor-bug, which I have. Granted I haven’t used it much, but I definitely love this product. After reading their critique, I am going to use it in my next project. the Scor-Bug acompanied with the Scor-Pal is a match made in heaven!  Check out their post. Very informative.

Today, I participated in my first ever CPS (Card Positioning Systems) challenge. I have been following their blog for quite some time and finally got the chance to participate in one of their challenges. I drew all my inspiration from the bird card by Angie. I loved what she did with the circles…. I hope you enjoy. A Passion for Papertrey is also hosting a Christmas challenge so be sure to check them out… Those ladies are Awesome!!!  Off to start working on 12 Tucked Away timeless templates by Lauren Meader. My mom asked if I make a few for her ladies that she lunches with each month. I didn’t really realize how time consuming it would be until I started the cutting/scoring process. HA HA HA! Happy to do it and just love Lauren’s templates so how can I resist. So happy I just ordered my Holiday Button Bits stamp set. Thanks to Paulina and all her cute projects using that stamp set, I just couldn’t resist any longer!!!   So that along with my stocking prints  and snowman stamp sets will make some really cute Christmas cards I hope!!!!! As soon as I saw this week’s Jugs Challenge, I was excited. I usually order all my Christmas cards online but this year I might make a few instead! I CASED Lisa Johnson’s Photo Card. What an inspiration!!!! I loved what she did from the colors she used to the buttons… I used her and MOJO for inspiration for the sketch. I also came across an idea to use a scalloped punch for trees so I thought I would throw that into the mix as well. I am so thankful for all the blogs I follow. I gain so much inspiration and knowledge from all of you! I probably follow about 30 blogs in my google reader and I religiously check every day for new posts…. So thanks!!!  I hope you like my card submission. I had fun doing it. Turned on some Christmas music for the first time this year….

My inlaws visited and what a perfect time! They got to see my little man all webbed up and ready to go!!!! We had a fabulous Halloween and hope all of you did too! He BEGGED my husband to be Wolverine so I was astonished when my husband (who is an extremely SERIOUS person) agreed!! Here are a few pics from our night! Click on each one to enlarge if you want to. Two cards in one day. Stop the presses! It’s been a while since I participated in Taylored Expressions challenge and what fun I had in making what will be my last Halloween card of the season. Some Papertrey Ink Hocus Pocus Paper and Halloween Tags 2009 stamps set, heat embossing and some googly eyes was all it took for this card. Clean and simple. Hope you like it. I used Lauren Meader’s fabulous Cash or Charge template yet again incorporation with SPCC’s Christmas Color Challenge! I just love this template. I have tried the two other versions of this template here and here. Aren’t they just fab? $5 bucks people! Seriously! I used the crinkled paper technique and heat embossed the snowflake for some added affects. I took some floss and just wrapped it around the handle and added a few PTI buttons just finish it off (I see now that one is not lined up with the rest so naturally I fixed that AFTER I took the photo, grrr).
