Wee Memories- 3D Hot Air Balloons

Note: This picture was taken with my phone as I left my camera in my husband’s car. Will update the photos as soon as I get my camera back!

I am excited about this card because it is bright and cheery and I needed a pick me up this morning, no pun intended. Wee Memories is having an “Anything Goes” challenge this week so I knew I wanted to play along and do something different…

The balloons and sentiment are from Practicing Creativity’s Look Up set. I love this set. I was published in Cards Magazine using this set.  I paper pieced the 3-dimensional large and medium size balloon with October Afternoon’s Fly A Kite patterned paper.  The smaller balloon is stamped with ink to match the background card stock. I wish I could take credit for the GENIUS WHY DIDN’T I EVER THINK OF THAT cloud die cut outs, but I saw it in a card from someone I follow in my Google Reader this past week. Ann Cox inspired me with this card! BRILLIANT!   A side angle of the 3-d balloons:

I’m sorry for the cruddy lighting in the pictures. I left my camera in my husband’s car so I snapped these photos using my Iphone…. Thanks Wee Memories for the fun challenge!!! I’ve got a whole bunch more stuff together for my next blog candy giveaway. I just need to take a picture and post it so stay tuned for that! Thanks for stopping by. Have a fabulous day!!!
