Flower Molds Using Resin – Video

EDITED TO ADD: DO NOT USE SAME TOOL FOR EXTRACTING LIQUIDS. USING SAME TOOL COULD DAMAGE RESIN IF HARDENER GETS MIXED IN WITH RESIN.

Hello everyone! I was so in love with the flower molds I received from MoldMuse, I had to place another order and find other ways to use them! So, I went to Hobby Lobby and picked up some Resin and created these beauties!

They are absolutely gorgeous! To see how I made them, I made up another video for you all! Be kind. This is my second video. Ever….. 🙂 Feel free to laugh at my “knock off” supplies I used instead of spending money on the real thing! 🙂 Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do! You can watch the video here or head on over to my  youtube channel and watch it in HD there! And feel to subscribe to my channel while you are there!!!!

Supplies:
Flower Molds by MoldMuse, Casting Expoxy, PTI Spring Moss ink Refill, (recommend Jenni Bowlin Stick Candy for comparable color), craft sticks, plastic measuring cup.

Here is a picture of the molds I made using clay in this video and then the ones I made today so you can see the difference.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

I just got some happy mail from SimonSaysStamp and Two Peas in a Bucket!!! AHH! Off to do some fun crafty stuff! Have a great day!

  1. This is FANTASTIC, Laurel! Thanks ever so much for sharing! I’m so going to have to try that! I get lots of resin flowers from my Jenni Bowlin kit every month, but sometimes they’re not quite the right colors. LOVE that you can make them any color you want in this way!

  2. these are cute too. Laurel. I have those same “tools” from my boys. I wouldn’t spend $10 either. good for you!
Love your little intro to the video with your cards. Very Cute!

  3. Wow! These are really gorgeous! How a beautiful shine! Thanks for the video, I love the intro and the tutorial is great and very useful. I’ll check if I find the resin 🙂

  4. Loved the video, Laurel! My little idiosyncrasies of talking drive me NUTS when I’m editing, so I know what you mean about the ums. 🙂 I didn’t think you were being cheap at all about using things you had around the house. I think that’s resourceful and I like seeing that! Way more creative than just buying the kit 😉 Now you’re really making me want to make these flowers. Eek! Going to have to pick up some sculpey and maybe some of that mold stuff I mentioned. Hmm.. Simon Says Stamp order? Maybe. Hehe. Hugs!

  5. I liked your viDeo!thanks for Sharing how you make them, they came out great! These tools are Going On the wishlist!

  9. The fashion dissertation will not be complete without critical analysis of the theories and opinions presented by other researchers in relation on the subject. Write your essay in your answer sheet, pursuing the plan you wrote inside the preparation stage.
