Etsy Inspired: Masculine Card PLUS Video

I was drawn by one of the items in the store featured over at the EtsyInspired Challenge. I visited their feature store and came across this photo! I instantly thought masculine. I was browsing thru videos by GinaK and saw this wonderful woodgrain card she made and though, perfect!

I made a video also. Now the funny thing is I stopped recording midway and forgot to push record when I went to stamp the tv and color it in. Oopsie! HA HA HA! But that is all that was missed. I used a blender pen and the Tim Holtz Distress Inks I used for the background to color in the tv. I choose to add the burgundy color in as well because my husband is an Aggie so he really likes that color! I hope you like the card and thanks for stopping by! You can view the video here or over at my youtube channel in HD.

Stamps: Paper Smooches Boob Tube

  1. Hehe! I love the slower music with the speedy card making, it makes me smile. 🙂 This is a very cool idea Laurel, thank you for sharing! It looks just like wood, I’m going to have to try this. I was thinking of making my Dad a Father’s Day card with Boob Tubes too! Thanks again for sharing this cool technique!

  2. I can’t believe that’s how you got the wood grain – what a fantastic idea. Thanks so much for the video and I love the end product…
