Clean and Simple Card Class Day 4: Flowers using text

I am having a wonderful time with this card class! Today’s challenge was to use the same stamp in more than one way. Here I used the new Hero Arts Newspaper Background stamp as the heat embossed background as well as text for one of the flowers (complete supply list below)! I also used a lot of Tim Holtz Distress Inks and the water flicking technique (look closely on the red paper strip and the big flower). The smaller flower  was sprayed with Perfect Pearls. I just thought it needed some shine. And the inside of both flowers is Liquid Pearls, love that stuff!!!

Thanks for popping by. See you tomorrow! 🙂

  1. Very pretty.
Answer to your question about my Lawnscaping Birthday card. The background is patterned paper from Basic Grey “Out of Print” 6×6 pad.
