Lawnscaping Challenge: Distress Mania sponsored by Lawn Fawn & new Tim Holtz Distress Ink Technique

Hi everyone! Happy President’s Day!!!!!! And welcome to another Lawnscaping challenge sponsored by the wonderful Lawn Fawn!

Today’s challenge is one of my all time favorite techniques to use! Distress inks!!!!! Now when you think of distressing, you might think of other things too. Edge distressing, distressed photos, sanding……. I love that too, but distress inks are my FAVORITE!

I tried a new technique I saw on someone’s blog (blast, I can’t remember who it was) and she saw it on Stamp TV. It’s brilliant! I masked off the areas and applied with a heavy hand my distress ink. Then I tried something a little different from the technique I saw. I shifted the masks and then used a very light touch with the distress ink when I applied it and I LOVE IT!  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I am sorry, but I fear you will see this technique from me often. So forgive me now.

The stamped images are from Lawn Fawn’s Love N’ Breakfast and they are colored with Copics.. I added some stickles on the top of the muffin! What’s a muffin without sugar……. The center of the flower is Liquid Pearls.

I hope you like it!!!! Thanks for stopping by. Please be sure to stop by the Lawnscaping Blog and check out what the rest of the design team made and check out our TWO guest designer’s projects! They are amazing!!!
