You’ve Got Mail for Daddy: Lawn Fawn

Hi everyone! Today’s card features two sets from Lawn Fawn’s brand new release: You’ve Got Mail and Critters Ever After…. This card was made for my husband! Any military wives out there? Then you know I need to say no more!!! I absolutely love the bird like critters because it so reminds me of BuckBeak the Hippogriff from Harry Potter!

I colored the mailbox and envelopes with Copics and that yummy paper pieced the postcards with some yummy patterned paper! I wanted the background to be subtle so I used the airmail image and created a background by stamping in in Soft Sand Hero Arts Shadow ink. All supplies will be at the end of this post.

I popped up the mailbox and envelopes with some foam dimension! A tiny little bit of bulk that won’t add postage. Love that…. I hope you like it. Thanks so much for stopping by today! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the comments you leave me. I read every single one!

Don’t forget about my Gelatos Giveaway and the current Lawnscaping Challenge!

  1. love it! I esp like the subtle background you made with the stamp and the dimension!! I bought this set and haven’t used it yet…..I have gotten in out and looked at it and I just love the smell of a new set… yes, I am weird…

  2. Oh my, how great is this?! Loving the whole griffin sending mail theme. Gorgeous colors, stamping and design, Laurel, love it!

  3. Precious card and fabulous coloring job. I was thinking of you last night b/c I finally got to play with some Faber Castell gel pens… aren’t those the ones you’ve done a tutorial on, or am I just making things up?

  4. Such a fun card! Of course I love the subtle stamping on the kraft and your coloring is so amazing! I love the griffin is mailing the letters. You know that Harry Potter card you did? You could do the griffin mailing something to Hogwarts or something. 🙂
