Sweet Stamp Shop NEW RELEASE BLOG HOP: Holiday Sentiments

WOO HOO! It’s the Sweet Stamp Shop’s new release week and today, some of us are showcasing a new set called Holiday Sentiments! I love sentiment sets……. You should have hopped on over to me by way of Emily! I made a couple of cards with this set. Let’s check them out!

This is the first of two cards created and this is my favorite of the two. Clean and simple. Jingle Bells and a cool sentiment!

The doodlebug twine here has a cool design. The green interlaced has some sparkle to it, hence the green inked sentiment! I found some jingle bells in my local craft store and stamped the sentiment with Hero Arts shadow ink!

And onto the second card.  I combined Pattern Craze with one of the sentiments in the new sets. The hexagons were heat embossed and then I used gelatoes to create the background. I love the font on the sentiment. Love the mixture of print/cursive and the different sizes….

The full reveal of ALL the sets being released this week is TOMORROW! So be sure to check back on the blog! The new release special is the new sets will be marked down to just $10!!! That’s an amazing deal! Be sure to pick up your sets before they sell out!

Next up on the hop is Jamie!

  1. really like the simplicity of the 1st card, great pop of red on the white. using pink instead of red or other traditional color is unexpected, and seems to work. thanks for sharing.

  2. Lovely cards. I’m really partial to jingle bells so of course the first is my favorite but I like how you used the gelatos with the resist technique on the second one.
