Video: Translucent and White embossing paste comparison

Hi there! I have a video today sharing the different results you get from using Translucent and White embossing paste. I also showcase the resist technique using Faber Castell gelatos as well as a super simple card from start to finish using embossing paste with embossing powder! You can watch the video here or over on my youtube channel! I mention in the video my Simply Getatos video series. They can be found here, here and here! This is kind of a long video so my apologies. I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

  1. Thanks for this very informative comparison Laurel. It was fun seeing you Wing it on your card making today…Isn’t that what creativity is all about?

  2. Great video!! Love the side by side comparison! I can’t wait to try some translucent paste out!! Love how it looks on colored cardstock!! And your start to finish card is so lovely!! Love that bubbly heart look!! Note to self: must get the falling hearts stencil! Lol

  3. Thank you for a great video. The comparison between the two pastes is very helpful, and your cards are lovely!

  4. Thanks for the demo Laurel! Now I really need to get some of the White Embossing paste and give it a try! I’ve seen projects using the paste but until you showed us how easy it is I resisted, but you make it look so easy!

  7. Today, I went to the beach front with my kids.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and
said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.

There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.

She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off
topic but I had to tell someone!

  8. Higher commissions were possible, even encouraged at
some companies. Hence, it is always advisable to maintain detailed and accurate documentation for this purpose.
But in the case of employed individuals it is left to the employer’s discretion whether or
    not to contribute matching funds.

  9. For a home that needs revamping the 107 percent financing is a
really good option. , but your total cost will be much, much less than being financed
at today’s outrageous conventional or hard-money interest
rates, terms and conditions. Phony rehab companies, which proved to be nothing more than empty store fronts, were set
up by these investors to convince lenders of the verity of the stated improvements to
    these houses.

  10. Most mortgage brokers have arrangements with the major banks and a few non bank lenders so that they can be seen to offer alternatives.
The verification is mainly conducted to make the companies free from any loss
in respect to their reputation, time and wealth as well as
provide a healthy working environment to other employees. Examine your checkbook register and petty cash receipts for
    any business related expenditures.
