A Taste of India Blog Hop

Hi there everyone and welcome to the  A Taste of India Blog hop!  The line consists of  6 stamps sets and 6 embossing folders (see the sneak picture at the end of the post)…  You should have arrived here by way of my friend, Jingle!  Today I’ve got a card to share with you all that features the Mandala stamp set from the A Taste of India line. I colored the gorgeous flower with different colors of Liquid Pearls (A first for me… It gives a great texture)… Then I cut out the flower. Before adhering it to the base, I decided I need to jazz up the background watercolor style so I used some Fired Brick distress ink and dabbed and swished with a paintbrush until I got the look I wanted… Here’s a closer look:

With a blog hop surely means there are prizes, right?? OF COURSE THERE ARE!!!! And you have lots of opportunities to win:

  • DT Blogs – 6 prizes will be given out to 6 different randomly selected blog comments from all of the designers blogs. We will award the sets when the winners are announced.
  • CC US blog – 2 sets from this release to 2 different randomly selected CC US blog comments, winner’s choice.
  • Participants may add comments to any of the blog hop posts from Thursday, April 17th – Monday, April 21st until 11pm (ET)/8pm (PT).
  • Winners will be selected on Tuesday and announced on the CC US Blog on Wednesday, April 22nd.
  • Winners must send an email to claim their prize (information will be provided when the winners are announced)!

So there you have it!! Now be sure to head  on over to the sweet Mary Dawn and she what she has created for you….
