Video – Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Let’s Be Clear Pop UP

Hello folks and happy Wednesday to you all!!! I hope you are all having a good week and to those that celebrated, I hope you had a good 4th of July weekend…. 🙂 This week’s challenge is all about CLEAR! What does that mean? Well, anything clear… Think glass, plastic, glossy accents, clear embossing paste, vellum, etc… Get the drift??? 🙂 Here’s a look at what I made using Wendy Vecchi’s translucent embossing paste, this stencil and distress inks..

I decided to turn it into a pop up card… And using this die makes it so incredibly easy to do. It’s hard to capture on camera, but all the distressed circles really shine because of the embossing paste.

As a finishing touch, I added some wink of stella and glossy accents to the bee.

I decided to go ahead and film a video showcasing how i made this pop up card. I hope you enjoy. You can watch it here or over on my youtube channel in HD. Disclosure: I was doing the voice over while I was vacationing at the beach house and it was early in the morning, so forgive me for talking so softly! I didn’t want to take anyone up! But I had to take my opportunity to finish up the video when I had the chance! 🙂

The wonderful peeps over at Simon Says Stamp have an amazing prize up for grabs! A $50 gift certificate to their online store!  50 smackaroos!  HELLO! Lucky duck….  Be sure to head on over to the challenge blog and check out the rest of the AMAZING creations by the design team and a special guest designer. And play along with us!
