FINALLY! You have sneaks all over the web and today is the day the release is finally available. I quickly loaded up my cart because stuff started going out of stock! I suggest you do the same…. 🙂 I was lucky enough to receive this stamp set prior to the release to play around with and I create two cards using it… It is just adorable. I am in LOVE with the fish bowl and there is so much you can do with it!! (It also comes with a coordinating die set)
For my first card, I stamped it and trimmed out the center…… All the images were colored/stamped with this watercolor set.… And you see the textury glittery circles? I made them with this new medium by Design Memory Craft. It’s Faber Castell Glitter Glass Bead gel… (So cool. I made a video HERE showing you how to use it)… Paired it up with the Simon Says Stamp Extra Large Dots stencil. The background panel was watercolored onto this watercolor paper.
Now tell me the truth. Can you picture Dorie in your mind singing, Just Keep Swimming. Just Keep Swimming (Nemo)…. LOL
I loved stamping the seaweed with the Gansai watercolors. I think the colors and texture was super duper cool…. The rest of the images were stamped with Onyx Black ink and then I watercolored them in with the same watercolors… And of course, I added a ton of wink of stella in clear all over the fish, the treasure box and inside of the fish bowl… Sparkle, sparkle baby!
For my second card, I create the textured background using the Design Memory Craft Faber Castell Glass Bead Glitter Gel and gelato (tinted the gel).. Again, the video I created shows how I made this background (I just couldn’t show the card in the video because it was a hush hush until today)….. So check the video to see how I tinted the gel and created this amazing textury glittery background….
The fish bowl was stamped onto clear card stock with Stazon Jet Black ink and then I adhered it down with multi-matte medium.
Then I took some fun foam and this die from Simon to create the fishing pole (I colored the foam with a brown gelato)… All the little fish were stamped and fussy cut and colored with Copics.. I added a touch of white gel pen to each of the fishies…
Oh yea, you guys know how much I love the gelatos (and they recently released these babies in a double scoop form, so double the product in one tube… More about that in another video). They are so much fun, and as always, calorie free.
Well today, I am pairing them up with a new medium Faber Castell has released…. It’s the Glass Bead Glitter Gel…. It’s so cool. Little beads of glitter… And the medium itself creates this awesome texture… I’ve got a card showcasing it, but I can’t show it until Friday, as that is the day Simon Says Stamp is releasing their #LIFEISGOOD line, so be sure to check back for the full reveal of the project. For now, here is a sneak. Take a look at the background. All created with the glitter gel and a gelato. The gelato gave it the color.
Now, I do have a quick video to share with you showing you how I made this background along with another background….. You can watch it right here on the blog or over on my youtube channel in HD.
Hey there! Today I’m here with a different sort of post as I don’t have a card to share with you today! I have a framed art project I made for my daughter’s room using the Faber Castell Gelatos by Design Memory Craft. Here’s a look at what I’ll be showing you today. See all the color and texture and just complete and utter yumminess??? Yea… That’s the gelatos…..

It’s a fun technique to try I think…. Just a few items that you need and this can be a background for a card, scrapbooking layout, art as you see here… Whatever floats your boat! Here is the frame in my daughter’s room:
And one more close up:
So there you have it! A little custom art! 🙂 I just love me some gelatos!!!!! I am entering this to the Mixed Media Challenge over at the Naughty or Nice Challenge blog (of course I opted to be nice, lol).

You know me! You know I LOVE my Gelatos by Design Memory Craft! They are fantastic! Little chapsticks of deliciousness…… Today I’ve got a fun technique for you that shows you how to create the “dripping” effect on your card using these babies…. It’s VERY easy to do. I paired it with a stamp set from the new Mama Elephant release. I love that bridge! Love that set.
As usual, I forgot to plan for my sentiment, so you get to see me figure it out all on camera… Along with a few other funny things.

Good morning. Today I’m back with my 4th video featuring watercoloring mediums…. Today’s cards feature the Design Memory Craft Faber Castell Gelatos….
This card is brighter than the other because I blended the gelatos with water and paint brushes…. The sentiment was heat set with this glitter embossing powder for just an added touch of shine.
This next card features the same exact colors and I blended them gently with a damp wet wipe and my finger:
The sentiment was heat embossed in clear.
