Good Times with Winnie & Walter

Tomorrow is a big day in our world. World CardMaking Day!  GOOD TIMES!  So I am celebrating a day early with Winnie & Walter! I LOVE this stamp set! That big camera! The polaroid (I trimmed out the center)! The fun little sentiments! Yup, it’s great! There is quite a bit of sparkle to this CAS card, but darn it if I can capture it on camera properly. Here, let’s try this:

A great stamp set can make a fantastic clean and simple card! The patterned paper? Yea, no idea. I hoard random papers…. SORRY! But the most important thing here? The stamps? They are outta this world awesome!

I’ll be back tomorrow with a very special post. I’m part of a blog hop for Ellen Hutson! AND I’ll also do a post linking to all the sales/challenges/fun I find on the web in my search! So tomorrow will be a busy day of blogging! And if you know of any upcoming deals/steals in honor of the day, please link them up in the comments below and I’ll include them in my post!

Winnie & Walter Share the Love rainbow style

I just had to play along with Winnie and Walter this week! They are having a Share the Love celebration all week long and I am playing along with their rainbow challenge. They are collaborating with Simon Says Stamp this week so in order to play along, you’ve got to use something from both companies! No problem. I’ve got tons from both! I used several different Winnie & Walter sets, the Simon Says Stamp THANKS die and loads of Wow Embossing powders….. ALL the supplies I used are linked below to multiple sources so be sure to check it out….

See the stars/flash? THIS embossing powder is the bomb! Period. It is awesome! I also used THIS embossing powder as a underlying shadow for the Thanks….

Shaker card meets Winnie and Walter

Hi there! Today I’ve got my second ever shaker card ready to roll! I didn’t film the process this time, lol! I’ve paired the shaker with some Winnie and Walter stamps, Pretty Pink Posh dies, WPlus9 inks and cardstock and some fun sequins I just found in my stash! See the vertical lines on the card base? I made that using my score-board. All supplies are linked below to multiple sources. I am in the process of getting a hosted blog so the supply list will look a lot more cleaner soon…. I love this Winnie and Walter stamp set…  I use the same set to make this vibrant chalkboard style card.  Today, I used it to make this one. See how universal this set is?  It made for some fun images inside the window. The snail is on the bottom left, but the poor little bugger got covered up with sequins, lol!

Hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today! If you’ve got any questions, just leave a comment! 🙂 Or just leave a comment anyways, lol!

All supplies are listed below from multiple sources…. (EH =Ellen Hutson, BM =BlueMoon Scrapbooking, SSS = Simon Says Stamp,   AZ =Amazon).

VIDEO: Winnie & Walter meets Crackle Embossing Paste

I had so much fun making this card! First off, I used this FAB set by Winnie & Walter. I love the banners, the variety of sentiments and the gorgeous flowers…. The background was created using Wendy Vecchi CRACKLE embossing paste. YUM YUM YUM! I used some of this WOW Embossing powder over the top of the flower and along the edges of the banner.

And of course, I added some of this universal embossing powder that goes with everything to the sentiment! Some got on the leaves by accident and I loved it so I used it!

You can watch the video right here on the blog or over on my youtube channel in HD!

You’ve Got Winnie and Walter Mail

Hello there and happy Tuesday to all! Today I am bringing you a card that is not something I’ve done before… A chalkboard style card with shots of color! When I saw THIS Winnie and Walter set, this idea just came into my mind.. Bright heat embossed hearts against a black background! This set is gorgeous full of detailed images like these hearts! The sentiments are fab…. I love Zing embossing powders… They give great coverage and they come in fabulous colors (the colors I used are linked below).

To finish it off, I heat set the envelope in white and colored it in with colored pencils… To create the chalkboard look, I just grabbed a make up sponge and spread some of the unicorn ink around. So yea, a little different from my usual style, but I kinda like it. What do you think?

Thanks for popping in today! Catcha tomorrow!

Picture love with Winnie and Walter

Hello!!! I just recently received my Winnie & Walter order and just had to find a few minutes yesterday (while my husband took my daughter on his run) to play! I immediately reached for this set. I love it! I created the text background by mounting all of the sentiments onto my footed press and then stamped. I aged it up by adding some distress inks and water! The camera was heat embossed with this sparkle embossing powder! LOVE LOVE LOVE the shine!!!

For the sentiment, I reached for this Winnie & Walter set! I selectively stamped the image so I could mount up that sparkly heart from the Picture  Perfect set.. Yes, the sentiment had a heart in it, but I wanted to pop up the heart and add some sparkle so I used the heart from the other set! And all the colored inks are from WPlus9! They are fab the way! If you are in the market for some great dye inks, check them out!

Super fun. So glad I discovered this company!! Happy Sunday everyone!
